Andrew S. Atkinson

Andrew Atkinson was born April 2, 1986 to William and Cindy Atkinson in Lafayette Louisiana. He was raised in Mobile AL. He was capably schooled at home by his parents, who both possessed a Masters degree in Education. He began piano lessons with his mother at age six, and continued through the completion of high school. After completion of high school studies, Andrew realized his dream of pursuing his musical studies in college. He enrolled at Thomas Edison State college in 2006, while taking his music classes at the University of South Alabama. His piano instructor, Dr. Robert Holm, is part of the prestigious group of Steinway piano artists. During his time at South Alabama he was involved in accompaniment for opera singers, theater performers, and was an active performer on the concert stage.
