Jackson Meyer

Jackson Meyer grew up in Seaside, Oregon. He lived in Suriname, South America for one year as a child. That year was spent studying, catching, photographing, animals, and exploring the Amazon rainforest. Since then, he has lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for one year Hilo, Hawaii for one year and Corvallis, Oregon for three years to earn two Bachelor's of Science degrees from Oregon State University -- a primary degree in Fisheries and Wildlife and a secondary in Zoology. Meyer completed a research internship in Costa Rica for one month working with nesting sea turtles and a two-month internship looking for a rare salamander species the Oregon Slender Salamander. Meyer is best known for his appearance on American Ninja Warrior Season 7. He enjoys scuba diving, surfing, playing soccer and volleyball on days off. He is a beach kid with a go-with-it Aloha attitude.
