Heidi Segal

From childhood through high school, Heidi excelled at all things creative - music, photography, art, creative writing, and producing variety shows and plays for family, friends, and classmates. Heidi joined the US Air Force followed by a successful career in the defense industry. Starting as an application developer, she advanced into the executive ranks, developing and overseeing production of multi-million/billion dollar proposals for US government contracts. In a mid-life career change, Heidi decided to apply her extensive business experience to the media & entertainment industry. She made this transition by attending the New York Film Academy's (NYFA) 8-week Filmmaking Program and 1-year Producing Conservatory. Over a one year period, she wrote, developed, produced, directed, edited, and/or crewed on over 30 projects consisting of short films, reality TV sizzle reels, scripted TV series, commercials, and music videos.
