Jailen Bates

Jailen Bates is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. He started out doing community theatre at the age of four when his family moved to Northern California. He started his training in San Francisco when his parents noticed he loved to sing and perform around the house. In late 2014 Jailen moved to Los Angeles, California and continued to train in the commercial and theatrical field. In Los Angeles, he was discovered by an agent and manager. Jailen continues to train and believes that acting is a craft that can be continuously improved. He prides himself in his ability to digest a script quickly, improv and perform a character breakdown. Jailen enjoys making original films with his brother and friends, participating in camera work, script writing and editing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Jailen became a series regular in the Nickelodeon show WITS Academy. In 2016 he went on to become a series regular in OMG! for Dreamworkstv.
