Biography

José René Bolaños, Writer, Director & Producer was born and raised in Southwest Side Chicago, IL. He always had a passion for fIlm and the arts. At the age of 6 he started drawing cartoons like Scooby Doo and Disney's Aladdin. He enrolled in Curie Metropolitan High School Art Program and graduated in the Art Honors Society. After graduating he got accepted to Columbia College Chicago for the Cinema Arts and Sciences BA program concentrating on Directing. Graduating with his BA in 2015 he decided to move to Los Angeles, CA and follow his dream of becoming a Director. After a year of struggling and trying to find a job he decided to move back to Chicago. He only stood in Chicago for four months until he realized his heart was in Los Angeles. In 2016 Jose moved back to Los Angeles, where he started working for Estrella TV as an Audience Coordinator. He then worked for The Voice Season 14 & 15 as a Contestant Representative and The Ellen Show Season 16,17 & 18 as a Stage Coordinator. In 20
