Mia Threapleton

Mia Threapleton (born October 12, 2000) is an English actress and daughter of Kate Winslet and Jim Threapleton. She made her screen debut at 13 in A Little Chaos (2014) and gained wider attention co-starring with her mother in I Am Ruth (2022), which won a BAFTA. She appeared in Dangerous Liaisons (2022), The Buccaneers (2023), and Firebrand (2023). In 2025, she landed her first leading film role in Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme, earning critical acclaim. Raised mostly out of the spotlight, Threapleton pursued acting independently, auditioning under her father’s surname. She is known for her thoughtful performances, love of art and nature, and choice to stay off social media.
