DeROY, the entertainer, is an accomplished actor, recording artist, songwriter, dancer, and published author. In DeROY's early career, he was a top runway model for Gianni Versace appearing on the runway with the likes of Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks. DeROY has appeared with a host of recording artists such as Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross to name a few. He performed as a background vocalist and a dancer while choreographing many of his performances. DeROY has toured the United States, Europe and Asia as a performer with great fanfare and performed as a dancer in numerous music videos airing on MTV. DeRoy is a controversial figure and has chronicled these controversies in his memoir, POOKEYOLOGY.
