Deena Wade

Down to earth and professional, Deena Wade has worked in small local films, as well as co-star roles on shows such as Nashville, Mr. Mercedes, The Staircase, etc. Deena was born in California and raised in the Southeast. She grew up saying y'all and ain't before they were cool, and as a result learned to also speak standard American English by her early 20s. She has lived and traveled all over the United States. From NYC to LA, she is now settled in western North Carolina on a small organic farm. She lives just 4 hours drive from most film hubs - Atlanta, Charleston, Nashville, etc. Deena has been studying professionally and finding her way in the world of film as a mature actor since 2016. She has a valid passport and loves to travel internationally and within the U.S. She has an MFA in Writing & Poetics from a Buddhist-inspired university and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies.
