Leah Byrne

Leah Byrne is a Scottish actress known for her work on stage and screen. She grew up in Yoker and began acting through the Scottish Youth Theatre. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she joined Dundee Rep Ensemble and appeared in plays like Tay Bridge and Wolfie. On TV, she’s been in Call the Midwife, Deadwater Fell, Nightsleeper, and Netflix’s Dept. Q as DC Rose Dickson. She has worked consistently in film and television throughout her career, most notably appearing as DC Rose Dickson in Netflix's Dept. Q, directed by Scott Frank (The Queen's Gambit, Godless). She can also be seen in Call The Midwife, Nightsleeper and The Last Bus.
