Biography

Juan Alexander was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, the third child of Hazel and Ciro Sanchez. His mother is of Polish-Jewish decent. Juan was educated at a private bilingual Spanish/English school in Colombia at an early. At age 6, his family moved to the United States and was raised in Woodstock, Georgia. It was his Freshmen year at River Ridge High School, where he found his love for acting. He excelled in Drama and Fine Arts, performing in both musical and straight plays, where he ultimately became a member of the International Thespian Society by the end of his Freshmen year. He was also involved with the school's varsity basketball, football and soccer team. Straight out of high school, Juan began to pursue his professional acting career. His first audition, landed him his first supporting role as "Mike" from the award winning short film " High Contrast", shown at the International Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. Juan has appeared in numerous television series and commercials.
