Brazilian filmmaker whose work explores the transformation of urban landscapes and the persistence of historical violence. He holds a degree in audiovisual from the School of Communication and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). His short films include "Um, Dois, Três, Vulcão" (2012), "Solomão" (2013), "E" (2014), "A Era de Ouro" (2014), "O Castelo" (2015), and "Comissão de Vendas" (2016), which were presented at festivals such as Rotterdam, Toulouse, and Oberhausen and won awards at several other festivals in Brazil. The documentary "Banco Imobiliário" (2016) marked Ramos's feature-length directorial debut and was screened at the 40th Mostra. He also directed the feature film "A Flecha e a Farda" (2020).
