Alyssa McGuigan

Alyssa McGuigan is a graduate from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Performance with Minors in Musical Theatre and Drama Therapy. She recently completed a contract with Disney Cruise Line as one of their main stage performers in their Broadway style shows. She began her theatre career with the Hudson Music Club, performing in shows such as the rose seller in Oliver (2004), Minnie Fay in Hello, Dolly (2005), Ursula Merkle in Bye Bye Birdie (2006) and as Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes (2008). Producers of the Canadian TV production of How do you Solve a Problem Like Maria (2008) broke their own minimum age requirement so that they could select her to be the youngest of fifty from a field of thousands vying for the role of "Maria" in the Andrew Lloyd Webber/David Mirvish production of the Sound of Music (2008).
