Biography

I'm an L.A.-based host and producer originally from sunny South Florida. As the only child of a rock star single Jamaican mom, it's fair to say that she taught me hustle by example. Early on, I knew education would change my life so I worked my way into magnet arts middle and high schools and then to Dartmouth, where I studied Neuroscience. But ultimately, I couldn't ignore my love for all things entertainment and pop culture. I decided to take a giant leap of faith, and after college I moved to New York to pursue hosting. After years of working to catch a break, I won a 2014 national VH1 competition to be a reporter alongside Nick Lachey. That incredible opportunity led to more, and I have since hosted digital shows for Condé Nast and Buzzfeed, covered The Oscars, GRAMMYs and Tonys for The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard, and written for Penguin Random House's young-adult and millennial division.
