Biography

Jacob grew up in a small town named Vars, Canada (now a rural community in the east end of Ottawa, Canada) where he attended St-Guillaume french elementary school. He moved to Winnipeg, Canada at the age of 11 years old with his parents and 2 siblings. He attended Collège Churchill Junior & Senior High School where he was a 2-sport athlete in football and hockey. Jacob was also a member of the school's jazz band and vocal jazz choir, and upon graduation was recognized with the school's individual award for outstanding achievement in academics and second field. Jacob played junior hockey in Manitoba while attending the university of Manitoba where he studied Kinesiology. After given the opportunity to play a part as a hockey player in the Michael Dowse film "Goon", Jacob decided to shift his focus to acting. He studied with Winnipeg actor and acting coach Darcy Fehr for several years before deciding to move Toronto, Canada where he lives today.
