Joe Keery

Joe Keery is an American actor and musician whose training includes a BFA in Acting from DePaul University. He began his screen work in commercials and guest roles before gaining wider visibility as Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, a role that strengthened his collaboration with a large ensemble and broadened his range in long-form storytelling. In parallel, he developed a sustained musical path: he co-founded the band Post Animal and later created the solo project Djo, expanding into composition, recording, and production. Keery maintains an active presence in both mediums, working with directors across television and film in projects such as Spree and Free Guy.
