Biography

At the age of 4, Sandy received her first pair of ballet shoes. She went on to study tap and jazz winning several first place awards for solo and group performances, and began teaching at the age of 13. Continuing her dance studies she explored lyrical, folkloric, and most recently, ballroom dancing. She worked as an instructor for Arthur Murray for 7 months after 1 short month of training. Theatre and film have filled the hours that dance has not consumed. Sandy's one woman show in San Francisco offered an opportunity to bond deeply with her writer/director. From there she studied Meisner at Playhouse West briefly, and met a handful of inspirational individuals. Sandy is also a published poet.
