Growing up in California, Raj was exposed to cinema early on. But instead of Los Angeles, it was New York that appealed to him. He made his first film in the 'Big Apple' in 2014 and never looked back. For 8 years, he has edited corporate videos and narrative shorts to stay connected to the visual medium, while simultaneously shaping his prowess in screenwriting. Opportunities to assist some of the finest editors in India prompted his move to Mumbai in 2019. Raj's strengths lie in screenwriting structure, moment-to-moment action, and layered character arcs expressed through realistic conversation and nuance. Telling riveting stories which make an audience evoke, emote and introspect is what keeps him enthused.
