Angela Soldier

The quiet hills of Northeastern Oklahoma may seem an unlikely place to find inspiration for a life in front of the camera. However, for Angela Soldier, the signs were everywhere. With roots in the Cherokee Tribe, much of her family was involved in the "Trail of Tears" drama, a live production that attracted visitors from around the country. Angela appreciated that through acting, her family was able to introduce the audience to a different time and place, creating emotional and unforgettable teaching moments. And as her school bus would pass grandpa's store, a recognizable setting from the classic film "Where the Red Fern Grows" each day, she would again be transported to a different place and time. Always fascinated with acting, she enrolled in a few improv courses in college. Then, in 2010 she answered a casting call for a comedy seeking extras in Oklahoma City.
