Corey Spencer

Corey was born and raised in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Boston's largest and most diverse neighborhoods. His parents, from Barbados, instilled a winning mindset in him from an early age, telling him that no matter where you come from, as long as you work hard and give as much effort as possible, you can become anything. This was the foundation for Corey's approach to his life and acting, and what still motivates him today to set an example of success for his friends and family. As a child, Corey enjoyed performing whenever and wherever he could - whether it was portraying different characters for home videos, or playing the clarinet during school band performances - he found that he loved it all as long as he was entertaining audiences. A defining moment for him came when he impersonated James Brown during a second grade concert, as this was when he realized that he had caught the acting bug.
