KaiCarra's parents are Mary (Mimi) Carr, flight attendant, and adoptive father, Tom Carr, Surgical Equipment Advisor. She attended private schools throughout elementary and junior high. She graduated from Cypress High School in Southern California. Along with her education, she was taught French, German, Latin, and Italian in order to sing opera when she trained at The Phillip Martin School of Music. As an adult, she speaks French and German, besides her native language, English. KaiCarra's family was very musical. Her mother constantly sang -in the car, at home, in grocery stores, everywhere; when she was little, KaiCarra thought her mother was the most beautiful singer in the world and only hoped to be like her. Her mother's favorite way of getting her eldest daughter out of bed and ready for school was by singing "Good Morning Merry (Mary) Sunshine". Later, her mother became KaiCarra's manager who actively promoted her daughter's singing and acting career, securing national TV appe
