Biography

Ella Steinbeck graduated high school early in the top 10% of her class. Ella went on to major in nursing to find out that chemistry is really really hard. She switched majors to sociology but ended up becoming a hairstylist with a very high-profile clientele. Ms. Steinbeck moved to NYC from Las Vegas and due to joint pain could no longer pursue hair styling. When Ella first moved to NYC she lived near The World Famous Comic Strip and started to study stand-up comedy as a new creative outlet for her energies. As a comic it led to her being able to dabble as an actress, humor columnist and writer of all things written. She has worked with the living legend Martin Scorsese, on several projects, most notably as Tracy in Vinyl on HBO and is proud to say she got to work with Hal Hartley in Ned Rifle.
