Phil Tavares

Phillip Anthony Tavares was born on October 16, 1969 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA. He was raised in North Quincy, Massachusetts and summered in Marshfield, Massachusetts. He is an only child born to an only child Madeleine Louise Kenny a book keeper. His father is the late Philip Allen Tavares a laborer. His mother is of Irish decent and his father of Portuguese decent. His parents divorced when he was young. Phil is married to Jeanine Ann Tavares and they have one child Anthony who was born in December of 2004. In 1987 when Phillip had just turned eighteen years old a tragic incident happened that claimed the life of his father. Law enforcement officials were at the center of the investigation. This event paved the path to Phillips career in Law Enforcement. He was compelled to rise through the ranks to professionalize policing holding them accountable for their actions.
