Biography

Canadian-born actor Kareem Tristan Alleyne was raised in Montreal by way of Vincentian and Grenadian parents. Kareem has always been creatively driven and growing up he was heavily influenced by his sister's stories about drama class in High school. Once a freshman, Kareem would go on to take drama class in 7th through 11th grade- attaining 3 of 4 Actor of the Year awards. Drama class solidified his growing passion to pursue his career in the arts. He has portrayed a wide range of characters in television, film, and on stage. His first performance came at the age of 10 when he played Elijah in a church play. After graduating from John Abbott College's Professional Theatre Program in Montreal, Kareem began his theatre career in Black Theatre Workshop's production of The Meeting by Jeff Stetson.
