Mandi Knight

While born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Mandi grew up in Windsor spending holidays in the Sault Ste. Marie area where her grandparents and uncle live. Performing and creative arts have always been her passion. Her mother enrolled her in a local ballet school when she was six years old where she had her first opportunity to perform in front of an audience when she was cast as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. By the time she was twelve, she'd written, directed and performed in several plays which she performed for family and friends in her basement alongside her sister as well as participated in numerous school productions. At the end of 1998, she and her small family moved back to northern Ontario - St. Joseph Island - where she attended and graduated from CASS. While there, she participated in several school productions, playing Cleopatra in Shakespeare's 'Antony and Cleopatra,' and Romeo in Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet.' Her film debut was in 2005 when she played Miss Fahey's Assistant
