Biography

Marlies Bauer Bell was born in Austria, leaving at the age of 15 to perform on stages all over Europe. Besides Annie, Aida and Oliver she also played with the Londoner West End Cast in Andrew Lloyd Webber's masterpiece Evita. After her first TV lead role in Oxygen's Comedy My Crazy Love, Marlies continued her Comedy pursuits at the UCB Improv Theatre. She portrayed Doris in Bill Manhoff's "The Owl & The Pussycat", Bitter lemons critics said "Marlies B.Bell is an art piece all in herself". Marlies has won several European Championships and Austrian Championships in Dance. She has also received 2 Future Talent Awards for Dancing and Musical Theatre. With her Crew she won the World Championship at the International Dance Challenge in Florida. Marlies received her BFA in Musical Theatre at the Stage School Hamburg and graduated from the 3 year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. Marlies currently works and resides in Los Angeles California
