Dave Mack III

Dave Mack III was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina on January 10, 1983 to Rosa Jones (Lebby) and Dave Mack II. His mother was a nursing aide and his father was a carpenter. His family's enthusiasm for cinema fueled his passion, and he went to the University of South Carolina to pursue filmmaking. After making several short films, Dave and his producing partner drove from South Carolina to Los Angeles, California to purse filmmaking. This lead to several collaborations and ultimately lead to his feature-length directorial debut, Bird. Dave has gone on to establish himself as a writer, director, and a producer. He is involved in the development of several projects.
