Biography

Carrie Nicole Salter was born on January 12, 1993 in Los Angeles, California. In 1997 her family relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia where she began dancing and acting at the age of 4. Right away she fell in love with dance and continued taking tap and ballet classes. When she was seven she started competing and at her first competition she won the Judge's Award for "Most Potential". Shortly after, she landed the lead role of Addy Walker in "Addy: An American Girl Story". Carrie continued to dance competitively and at age 10 her family decided to relocate to Sarasota, Florida. Her first priority was finding the best dance studio in town. She started dancing at FLEX Dance Studios in Sarasota. A few months after the move to Florida, her mother signed her up for an amazing opportunity to audition to be a Junior Rockette and dance with the NYC Rockettes in their Christmas Spectacular show. She booked the role and to this day, she says it was "one of the best experiences of her life". A
