Biography

Hailing from the DMV Metropolitan area, Daryl Paris Bright is a filmmaker and performing artist, based in LA and NYC. She is a founding member of CNT Productions, a femme-millennial production company, creating socially charged content with a bite, where she wrote and co-hosted CNT's live interactive show, "The Sex Scene." She has helped write, produce, and star in CNT's sketch comedy series Not Your Type as well as their docuseries, OPEN , which has been featured in Afropunk, Deadline, and Gloria Steinem's Ms. Magazine. Her contributions have been recognized by HBO's Inspiration Room, the American Black Film Festival, Sundance's Horizon Awards, and AT&T Film Awards for New Forms of Storytelling. Along with being a YoungArts and UCB Diversity scholar, Daryl is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama.
