Katy Marcella

Katy Marcella was born October 10 in Sarasota, Florida, and at age 2 moved to Minnesota. She began her acting career at age 7, performing in college productions of "The King & I" and "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at Minnesota State University. After moving to Rochester, Minnesota she also discovered a love for dance, and spent her summers at ballet intensives at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet & Milwaukee Ballet School. While in high school, Katy's loves of theatre & dance meshed when she began choreographing academic & community-based theatre productions, as well as summer theatre classes. She was an active participant in her school's drama department & show choir, choreographing & performing in her school's production of "Disney's Beauty & the Beast." During her senior year of high school, Katy was the first recipient of Mayo High School's Jerry Smith Outstanding Performance scholarship, awarded to one student demonstrating outstanding performance & dedication to th
