Born David Chock Tam in Miami, Oklahoma January 12th, 1955. He graduated from Miami High School, Miami, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma, Norman, graduating with a degree in Architecture. He practiced architecture for 23 years, and wrote fiction and did small-part acting as time allowed. In 2010, after retiring from architecture, he was given the opportunity to do a screen test for the Terrence Malick film project, "To The Wonder", starring Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams, much of which was locally filmed in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Although not landing the small speaking role, this opportunity allowed David to pursue more television commercial work, and roles in the Sci-Fi 3-D film "Ratpocalypse", the William H. Macy musical/drama "Rudderless", and the historical documentary/re-enactment film "America: Imagine the World Without Her." David continues acting under the screen names "David C Tam", "Dave Tam", and writes fiction under the name "David L. London."
