Dominic Hughes

Dominic was born in Whitehaven Hospital on 18th April 1983, but was raised in Workington in Cumbria. He had lots of interests growing up and was a keen footballer in his youth and a passionate Manchester United fan. Dominic first became interested in acting after a chance invite to his school drama club. Dominic was standing outside his head of years office one afternoon in detention, a position he would come to know well throughout his time at school, when a group of his friends found him and asked him to join the drama club. He agreed and the rest is history. Dominic's formal training began at Manchester Metropolitan University where he studied Drama & Creative Writing, a time he describes as being one of the most creatively and emotionally stimulating times of his life, and Arts Educational Schools London, where he received his official professional qualification.
