Biography

Laura Harrier is a Chicago-native who shortly after moving to New York for drama school was discovered by Steve McQueen for his HBO pilot. Harrier is best known for landing as the breakout role as 'Liz Allan' opposite Tom Holland in Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man: Homecoming." She is also seen in auteur filmmaker Spike Lee's award-winning film, "BlacKkKlansman." Starring opposite John David Washington and Adam Driver, the film earned six Academy Award nominations in 2019, including a Best Picture nomination. "BlacKkKlansman" was also honored with the coveted Grand Prix Award at the Cannes Film Festival. Harrier has also garnered critical acclaim portraying Robin Givens alongside Trevante Rhodes as Mike Tyson in Hulu's eight-episode limited series "Mike."
