Darryl Wesley

Darryl Wesley is an African American writer, producer, director, and actor. Darryl was born and raised on the east side of Detroit and began his journey as an athlete, winning- the-state-championship in basketball in high school. After college at Bowling Green State, he moved to California to pursue an acting career. After arriving in Hollywood, he decided to start writing his own material about his experiences as a young black man. He has since written and produced five stage plays that were consistently sold out and Hollywood started taking notice. He was subsequently cast alongside Patrick Fabian in the award-winning indie feature, DriverX. Darryl has a solid slate of projects he has written, from TV Drama to animated series to a Rom-com feature and more!
