Anissa Matlock

Anissa Matlock was born in Augusta, GA; the oldest of three children in a military family. She credits her family's frequent relocation across the US throughout her childhood for her adaptability in life and in her work. Growing up, she enjoyed writing and illustrating short stories and began entertaining friends and family through backyard plays, scene re-enactments from her favorite TV shows, and community theatre as a teen. She dual-enrolled in her senior year to finish high school early and graduated with a B.A. in Theatre in Atlanta, GA, in 2012. Her first televised role was a bit part in season 5 of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (2015). Additional TV credits include 2 Episodes of 'The Resident' (2018 & 2021) and 2 Episodes of 'The Gifted' (2018-2019) on FOX, as well as 'Reprisal' on HULU (2019).
