Biography

Hunter Elizabeth is a singer-songwriter and actress. Before settling in as a performing artist, Hunter spent her young years in musical theatre. Her first musical role at the age of 9 was "Dolly Holiday" in "Santa's Holiday Hoedown." This caught the attention of high school drama teacher, Linda Piccolo, who began casting Hunter in high school musical productions. Through the next years, Hunter would perform in dozens of musicals and play, most remarkably as "Annie" in "Annie Get Your Gun," as "Liesl" in "Sound of Music," and as "Maria" in a second production of "Sound of Music." Hunter's vocal talent was recognized throughout high school at local, regional and state level music festivals. She won the local "Idol" talent contest and went on to compete successfully to the televised levels of "American Idol" and "The Voice," having made it to the top 100 in both contests out of hundreds of thousands of entrants.
