Debra Leigh-Taylor

Born in north west London in the county of Middlesex, Debra now lives in the Chiltern area of Buckinghamshire. She is married with two grown up daughters both of whom are in the music industry. Her eldest daughter is singer, songwriter and producer Stevie Leigh. For Debra, acting and singing came very naturally and like many other actors she has fond memories of her first performances at junior school. In her youth she became involved in a local fringe theatre west of London and began her love of performing in plays and musicals. Her other love of singing also played a large part in her life at this time and she spent many hours in dark and dingy recording studios laying down lead and backing vocals. Writing material was a natural progression; a pursuit she still enjoys. After her girls had grown up, Debra's love for acting took over again, finding herself back on the stage in comedy plays.
