Heidi Brander

Heidi Brander is a Canadian Comedy Award winning writer and comedian best known for her work as a writer and performer on CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes. She has written for a number of TV series including Baroness Von Sketch Show, Still Standing, Spun Out and MTV Live. Heidi has also appeared as a comedian and pop-culture expert on Video on Trial, Entertainment Tonight Canada, and MTV Creeps. She has been nominated for several Canadian Screen Awards and Writers Guild of Canada Awards for her comedy writing. She is also a Canadian Comedy Award-nominated stand-up comedian who tours in shows and festivals across Canada. Heidi also performs as "Velveeta," one-third of pop-parody viral video sensations "The Cheeto Girls."
