Biography

Marina Esteve was born in Vilobí del Penedés (Barcelona). She studied at Estudio Juan Codina in Madrid. Marina worked at a restaurant in Barcelona where she was spotted by Italian film director Angelo Orlando. Orlando mentioned that he was in pre-production for his new movie "Rocco Tiene tu Nombre," an Italian/Catalan co-production, and had been casting many actresses, but none seemed to fit the bill. After this encounter, he sent her the script, she auditioned, and finally made the movie. After completing the film, she decided to move to Madrid to begin studying acting at the age of 27. Since her debut, she has appeared in films such as "¡Quemad Barcelona!" by David Victori, "Compulsión" by Ángel L. González, "Seguimi" by Claudio Sesteri, and "Libélulas" by Luc Knowles. She has also starred in the short films "Centrifugado" by Mireia Noguera and "Imago" by Marta Parreño.
