Awkwafina

Awkwafina, born Nora Lum, is an American actress, rapper, and comedian who first gained attention in 2012 with her viral YouTube track "My Vag." She later released the album Yellow Ranger and appeared on MTV’s Girl Code. Known for scene-stealing roles in Crazy Rich Asians, Ocean’s 8, and Jumanji: The Next Level, she earned a Golden Globe for The Farewell (2019), becoming the first woman of Asian descent to win in that category. She stars in and co-created the Comedy Central show Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens. Her film credits include Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Raya and the Last Dragon, and The Little Mermaid. Raised in Queens, New York, by her Chinese-American father and Korean-American grandmother, Awkwafina blends humor, music, and cultural identity in a unique voice that continues to gain critical and commercial acclaim.
