Roy Coulter

Roy was born December 6, 1965 in Landstuhl, Germany to parents Roy Gene Coulter and Doris Heidemarie Ingeborg Waske. His father was a career serving Air Force veteran when he met his mother during his tour of duty in Germany. Roy primarily grew up all over the United States while his father continued to serve until his retirement in 1983. Growing up, Roy was an active child who always participated in team sports and activities such as Air Force JROTC, Drama Club and Scouting. He earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1982 at the age of 16, and served as Cadet Commander during his senior year. Roy attended three different high schools before settling down and graduating in 1984 from Rossville HS in Rossville, Georgia. After graduation, Roy enlisted with the Tennessee Air National Guard with a Nashville unit. When not drilling with his unit, Roy enrolled with a junior college, taking classes in the evening and working as a roofer during the day. He did this for about a year when he realized hi
