Kendra Carelli

Kendra Elisabeth Carelli was born in North Carolina, to an American father and an Austrian mother. Growing up in a cross-cultural environment, many summers were spent in Europe visiting family and backpacking around the world. At a young age - she gained insight to many different cultures, lifestyles and religions. When her family was not traveling they were at home on their farm. Kendra recalls, "There was no television or computer access, so my brother, little sister and I had to get imaginative - we spent our days playing in the woods, tracking animal footprints, building fairy forts, playing with worm snakes, you know the usual kid stuff." Her parents said, "Kendra was always putting on home plays and telling stories, climbing trees to get away from the bad guys, speaking in new accents and made up languages - she kept us entertained so there was really no need for television or cable".
