Biography

A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama, Leanne trained with the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company, where she received the award for "Outstanding Achievement in Studio". She later went on to receive classical training from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in her hometown of London, England. While still a student at NYU, she started working professionally as an actress in June 2012 with her role, Riley in Every Word Handwritten (RSM Creative, Dir: Kevin Slack). The film had its premiere at the Anthology Film Archives in February 2013 and was an Official Selection at the Montclair Film Festival in May 2013 as well the Big Apple Film Festival in November 2013. In May 2013, she filmed the lead role in the independent feature film Acabonac Sunrise (Palmarium LLC, Dir: Erik Flynn Patton) as well as the role of Judith Singer in the short Stanley Kubrick biopic Fidelio (Fear & Desire LLC, Dir: Jason Dubin).
