DJ Robinson

DJ Robinson is an American actor, producer & international hip-hop recording artist based in Hollywood, California. Daniel Joseph Robinson was born in Jacksonville, Florida where his Dad pastored an artistic multicultural church. As a child DJ began performing music, puppetry, and comedy, and filmed videos with his dad's old VHS camera. In high school, DJ was trained in musical theater and studied acting at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts where he won awards for his portrayal of Don Quixote in the Man of La Mancha. Dreaming the impossible dream DJ began to write music. After high school, DJ and his friends were signed to the Shabach Entertainment record label and released the hip-hop album "Camp Quest". This album spawned multiple international tours with music videos featured on BET & MTV.
