Biography

Lois Ho was born in Hong Kong. She studied at St. Paul's Catholic Secondary School before transferring to the French International School at the age of 10. Concurrently, she was also admitted as a part-time student by the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, majoring in Piano. Lois has won numerous awards at the Hong Kong Music Festival, and served as Principal Cellist at the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra for 3 years. She was granted a music scholarship at 16 to pursue A-level studies at Marlborough College in Wiltshire, United Kingdom, where she studied English Literature, French and Latin, and continued to hone her skills as a pianist while serving as Principal Cellist in the Marlborough College Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. She holds a B.A. in Modern Languages with a minor in Linguistics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a Professional Certificate in Translation for French into English from New York University.
