Michael Day

Mike Day was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and uses his upbringing as motivation to create the best cinema work that portrays Black life in America. Day discovered his passion for film while focusing on Broadcast Journalism and African American studies at the University of Arkansas. Mike Day founded DAYVISION Films in 2015 and since has created visual arts for businesses, YouTube series and music artists. In 2018, Mike Day added to his resume by collaborating with Visionairi Enterprises and Sauced Up Entertainment to direct his first documentary, Buy Back the Back, which has appeared in multiple film festivals in the state of Arkansas, including Fayetteville Film Fest. Mike Day is currently at the end of his film festival season for his first short narrative film, Focus, which has been selected for multiple film festivals in the country and was selected as the Best Natural Short FIlm and the inaugural Arkansas Minority Film & Arts Association this past September.
