Biography

A five time Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder, Nathan Adrian is one of the top swimmers of his generation. Born in Bremerton, Washington in 1988, Nathan is a three time Olympian, participating in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Games. The youngest of three children, Nathan followed his brother and sister to the swimming pool at the age of two and started swimming competitively at the age of 5. One of the most recruited high school swimmers in the USA, Nathan ultimately chose to attend the University of California at Berkeley. While at U.C. Berkeley, Nathan was a multiple All-American and NCAA Champion and Swimmer of the Meet in his final NCAA Championship in 2011. Also an Academic, Nathan was an NCAA Academic All-American and winner of The Neufeld Scholar-Athlete Award at U.C. Berkeley, which is given to the graduating male and female student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point averages.
