Sean Rosa

Filmmaker Sean Rosa was born in The Bronx, New York. With no formal training, Sean began his journey as a devoted admirer of film. The year was 1986 when Sean experienced his first science fiction film. After sneaking in to a theater, Sean found himself watching Aliens. Intrigued by the terror that consumed his young mind, it was at that moment Sean knew that film making was his true calling. His obsession of films grew to the point that Sean would begin reading and memorizing movie poster credits. Financial hardships also accompanied Sean throughout his developmental years. So much that Sean couldn't afford to see the films that sparked his intrigue. One summer, a young Sean went to his local video rental store and befriended the owner. The owner marveled Sean's genuine love for films and allowed him to rent movies for free. In return, the owner asked Sean to write about what he liked about every movie he watched.
