Biography

Jack "Jackson" Firestone was raised in Long Island, New York, trained in Meisner Technique at HB Studios in NYC, as well as by famed actors/teachers/legends Jeff Corey and Al Ruscio in Los Angeles in the late 1970's. Jack has appeared on the regional stage and Off-Broadway stages in dozens of plays (he craves performing for a live audience!), as well as numerous TV commercials and scripted TV programs. Jack's been a card-carrying SAG-AFTRA member since the late 1970's, having gotten his professional start in several of Norman Lear sitcoms, including All In The Family and Good Times. In 1980, Jack took a hiatus from "show business" to work the "business of shows," where, as a member of the sales staff of legendary TV program syndication company Firestone Programs, Jack sold perennial hit shows into the TV syndication marketplace, including Chuck Barris's The Gong Show, The New Dating Game, and The New Newlywed Game (in which he had also worked as a Contestant Coordinator!); Allen Funt'
