Biography

LaShone Garth started her career in the military enlisting at the age of 17 years old. After spending 4 years on Active Duty, she left the service and entered the Georgia Army National Guard and went to Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as a 2LT Military Police Officer. LaShone spent 8 years in the Guard before transitioning over to the U.S. Army Reserves where she honorably served the remainder of her 20 plus years, which includes a tour of duty in the combat zone of Iraq, until her retirement. As a citizen warrior, LaShone had the opportunity to not only gain valuable leadership and military experience, but she also was able to get over 18 years experience in the civilian sector working in corporate America as well as owning and operating her own business successfully for over 8 years.
