Erik Estrada Loaiza

Erik Estrada like many young starting actors knew from a very young age that the performance stage was where he was supposed to be. Erik recalls a moment in his childhood when singing "Un Indio Quiere Llorrar" and bursting into tears on stage after forgetting the lyrics. While being confused and embarrassed by his mistake, he felt a bitter sweet love about being on stage. Right there and then he knew that the performing bug had bit him, and real good. Although for a moment in his life, he began to feel comfortable with the idea of living an orthodox life style. While in high school he wanted to follow up the career of a police officer and during and after his high school career, he took up a few years of training. But, in the back of his mind Erik knew what his real passion was, and decided that the stage and being in front of the cameras was where he belonged. His motivation was his family and faith.
